E-Mail Abuse Reporting

We are very sensitive to E-mail abuse and will do everything within our power to track it down and eliminate it. This form is intended to help you report incidents of E-mail spam and abuse that appear to have originated from a missionaries.org OR missionaries.com e-mail address.

The Mission Station does not send out e-mail that is legally considered SPAM by any United States governing body, and we will work to track down those that make it appear that we do. We operate many websites, and have had several individuals (not connected with The Mission Station) who have sent SPAM to large groups without accurate return/reply addresses, or accurate Subject lines. Again, The Mission Station does not do this!

If you receive an e-mail about one of our websites, then please read the Header information very carefully, and contact the true originator of the e-mail message. If they have falsely used a The Mission Station address, then please use the form below to report the abuse.

The Mission Station offers limited Free e-mail service to Missionaries around the world, and as such there are many e-mail accounts that are out of our direct control. However, if we find out that one of these accounts is being abused, we will take appropriate action against that account.

The Mission Station uses the State of Washington, USA definition of SPAM as our base, and an e-mail is considered spam or abusive by The Mission Station if:

  • the receiver has asked not to be contacted by the originator,
  • the e-mail has a forged or false return email address, or an address not the property of the sender,
  • the e-mail has forged, false or misleading header information,
  • the e-mail has been relayed (bounced) from third party servers or services without their permission.

Spam or abuse does not include e-mail that was unsolicited, but is only sent once, with clear instructions for removal from the mailing list, has an accurate Subject line, and has a valid return/reply address.

The Mission Station e-mail accounts proven to be abusive will be investigated immediately, and appropriate action taken against the user of that account. Please note that without the offending evidence we have little recourse, so please make sure to paste the offending messages (with complete Header information) into your reply.
