Praying for Missions

Prayer is the most important form of support that a Missionary has. Money is important, in fact without it, the Missionary would not be on the field. However, if God's people do not uphold God's servants, the Missionaries, in prayer, then we are not using the most valuable resource that God has given us--access to His throne of grace.

Below you will find some specific guidelines to enable you to better pray for the needs of Worldwide Biblical Christian Missions. Please us these guidelines to make your prayer life more effective in the cause of Missions.

It is sad that many adults, still pray as little children, "Lord bless all the Missionaries in the world! AMEN!" When we use the guidelines below, we will find that we are not only praying more effectively, but that we are building a spiritual bond with these Missionaries. Their needs become real, and if these guidelines are at all effective, they will bring out a desire to help Missions in areas other than prayer also.

The items below are not definitive by any means, but are meant to be broad guidelines that will aid you in praying more specifically for Missions.

How to pray!

Pray Intelligently
* Know your missionaries country, time zone, geography, climate, history, government and people.
* For instance: Do you know the time zone of your missionary? Use the list below to be sure!
